The BR4 is a 10 oz handheld that ranges to 4,000 yards and runs the Revic ballistic solver on what it measures: temperature, station pressure, compass and incline, with advanced wind and earth based effects. It returns a correction in MOA, in MIL, or as a Shoot To Range number you dial straight onto a BDC turret. Thirty percent lighter and sixty percent smaller than the version before it, which is the version that stays in your bino harness instead of the truck.

Why the BR4
The BR4 is a rangefinder, not glass. At 10x it will give you a number on an animal you have already found, and it will not help you find one, which means it rides alongside a binocular rather than replacing it. Past about 2,000 yards its accuracy opens to 3 yards and a reflective target is doing a lot of the work. If you want one optic that glasses and ranges and solves, and you are prepared to pay more than twice as much for it, that is the Acura BR10. If you already own binoculars you like, the BR4 is the cheaper and lighter half of the same ballistic system.

Your load data etched around the elevation turret. Pair it with Shoot To Range and the BR4 tells you the number to dial, with no conversion.
