Why the Backpacker UL
The Backpacker UL is the only ultralight in the line with leveling head functionality. Its hollow ball system removes the single axis limit of a normal center column, and it does that at 1.80 lbs, within a couple of ounces of the Tracker, which has no leveling at all. The column swaps out for the included 3.25 inch short column when you want maximum stability or a prone position.

Heads are sold separately so you only buy what you need. These are the heads matched to the Backpacker UL. Every Revic head now features the Lever Clamp for greater clamping force and tool free width adjustment, and it will not work loose over time.
